Here's what we mean when we talk about employee development.

 

Appraisal - some people call this performance review, one-to-one or personal development planning.  We mean designing and implementing a new system of appraising peoples' performance to suit your business.  (Or you might want us to review and improve an existing framework.)

 

Apprenticeships - if apprenticeships or NVQ's are your bag, we can help with supporting you and your people through the process, providing tutorials and assessing for NVQ certification.

 

Assessments - this means measuring the competence of your people through different exercises.  We can design this for you, including question banks and other activities, then do it and tell you the results.  Assessments are often a feature of regulated firms.

 

Coaching - pick just about any subject and we can coach your people through it.  To be effective, coaching needs to be planned and delivered carefully.  That way, you get the best out of the exercise and make it really job-relevant.  If coaching isn't suitable, it maybe that mentoring is.

 

Competency Frameworks - this is a way of identifying what qualities your business needs to succeed, then measuring the performance of your employees against them.  You might need this if you are moving from being a small to an SME company and it's time for some proper systems and controls. 

 

Continuing Professional Development - this is for employees who are qualified professionals and therefore, have CPD obligations.  We'll assist with the management and recording of staff CPD records to the standards required by the relevant institute or body. 

 

E-learning - if you already have an LMS or a learning based intranet, we can design materials and add them to it for you.  If you don't, we can help you find the best e-learning product on the market and manage the implementation process for you.

 

Exams - these are often a requirement for employees, especially in regulated sectors.  Here, we can help with tutorials, examination preparation techniques, examination scheme management and support.

 

Learning materials - this means paper or manual based learning.  If you want something special designed for your organisation, we can do it to your specification then roll it out and report back, as you require.

 

Training needs analysis - starting at the very beginning, we'll take a high level look at your business needs then establish what skills your people have before making a recommendation about what training is required to move your organisation forward.

 

Training management - we'll take the management of training off your hands by designing your training programme (large or small), coordinating training activities to budget and evaluating the results of training activities once they're complete.

 

Training workshops - here, we can help with sourcing training providers if courses are what you need (we will recommend the best available).
